NDTEST Ltd. has been founded in 1989 as a fully private company. Now It employs about 25 people. NDTEST is leading company on Polish NDT market. In 1995 it has established partnership with well known Dutch inspection company - Roentgen Technische Dienst bv. It also cooperates with British AEA Technology - Veritec Ltd. in the area of TOFD applications and German company Kontroll Technik in eddy current inspection of heat exchangers.
  NDTEST has quality management system ISO 9001:2000 certificated by BVQI and certificate of recognition issued by international shipping inspection compampanies DNV, Bureau Veritas - Marine Division and ABS and also the Polish governmental Technical Inspection Office -Urząd Dozoru Technicznego and Polish Register of Shipping - Polski Rejestr Statków.

NDT personnel qualification / certification

NDTEST staff is highly skilled and qualified. Its experience has been gained on construction sites of numerous industrial installations in Poland, former Soviet Union, France, Tunisia, Libya, Syria, UEA etc.
  Operators are qualified / certified to level 1, 2 and 3 by SIMP, by UDT - CERT and DGZfP according to PN-EN 473 standard and 97/23/EC - pressure Directive, as well as according to SNT-TC-1A specification (ASNT).

NDT equipment

Apart of standard NDT equipment company is equipped with dedicated or specialized equipment as for instance:

• Gamma crawlers - Gammamat M6 and M18 loaded with Ir-192 or Se-75 sources
• X - ray crawler - IRIS 6
• Ultrasonics digital units - Panametrics Epoch III
• Computerized ultrasonic TOFD system made by AEA Technology - Veritec Ltd. (former Sonomatic).

Thanks to the cooperation with Roentgen Technische Dienst the following high-tech NDT services have been offered on Polish market:

MFL - Magnetic Flux Leakage technique to examine corrosion

• FLORSCANNER - mechanized instrument to inspect corrosion of storage tank floors
• WALLSCANNER - instrument to inspect corrosion of vessels, and tank shells
• PIPESCANNER - instrument to inspect corrosion of non-insulated pipes

Mechanized Ultrasonic Testing instruments

• ROTOSCAN - mechanized ultrasonic pipeline girth welds inspection system
• Mapscan - ultrasonic corrosion mapping system for vessels, pipelines, tank shells
• Beetle - remote ultrasonic wall thickness measurement device for tank shell or ship walls

Instruments to measure CUI - corrosion under insulation

• INCOTEST - pulsed Eddy Current technique to inspect erosion/corrosion wall thinning
• RTR - Real Time Radiography
• Eddy Current systems supported by Kontroll Technik NDTEST
• Heat exchanger tubes (ferro and non-ferromagnetic) inspection
• SLOFEC - computerized EC inspection of pit corrosion in thick-walled vessels, tank floors, pipelines, boiler tubes.
